My FIRST Craft Project of 2012

Because I just KNOW I am going to become super-craft Woman and do many, many cool projects in all the free time that doesn't exist. Well, maybe I'll at least get this one done!

Now, I have suspected for quite some time there is a multi-talented super-craft person deep down inside me. Never mind that my Dear Hubby (DH) had to tie ribbons on all sixty of our wedding invites, while I handled the tasks normally assigned to the male species of the computer work, addressing and stuffing envelopes. Never mind that this is the usual course for all craft projects. Never mind I started a quilt for my BFF's daughter when she was born. She's 8 now and only the squares are pieced together. Never mind all that.

I AM GOING TO BE CRAFTY. And Pinterest and blogs the world over are going to help me do it. Here is my first craft project: Revamped Picture Frames


Please note this pictures is from Shanty-2-Chic's tutorial linked above (I hope this is proper blog etiquette!). I plan to do these as a gift...If it turns out, I'll put a picture up. If it doesn't, don't ask... and I'll find another hobby. Because this is surely one of the easiest craft projects out there - super cute, but easy!

Off with a Bang! .... Or a sniffle....

Oh, my. Oh, my. Clearly, 2010 was not my year of self-realization as previously promised in my last (and only) blog post. hhhhmmmm.... C'est la vie! What can I say? Clearly, I was simply too busy spending my lottery earnings, traveling to fabulous Jetsetter destinations across the globe, and becoming Super Wife of the year to post a single word.

Or. I was just lazy and couldn't get myself in the mood. The thing is, I really love blogs...I love the idea of blogging, I like reading blogs, I like writing.... but for some reason, I CANNOT seem to make myself pick up the computer and actually start a blog post.

I blame pinterest. That's right, I said it. Pinterest is to blame for the world being deprived my inane musings. Some may say Thank You, Pinterest. But I chose to ignore those people.... :) I started off the new year with a ferocious cold / flu like existence that has enabled me to spend several days / hours with not much more to do than check out Pinterest. In short, I have about a million craft projects lined up. I was going to post my first one here, but alas, I am too long-winded and over the limit.

Guess that just means I will have to do a second post! Whoa! I'm really working on this blog now! :)
